ADX Résurrection CD 1998 Exécut Prods ORG (#130367177044) US $61.00

an old one I forgot to post

I felt ripped off after I listened to this one and I only paid 6 bucks. I'd be raging mad had I paid 60 for it.

3 copies for ten bucks and at least two of those copies were up when that auction was going.

Was the $9.99 a buy it now? Or just typical pricekillers madness? Can't say I'm familiar with this release so I don't know the going rate.
It was a combination. When a seller has an open auction (let's say start price $0.99) also with buy it now option for $9.99. I guess the winner was very quick.
There was no "Buy It Now" option, period.

I would know because I won it.

That one, to the contrary, was very cheap from him:

Maybe the condition was not good enough for the high bidders.

Agreed. Both the US and first German press should have been released around the same time.

I don't know where this whole "no barcode is the first press" theory came from. It seems a lot of German guys like to push this.

Yup. Plus Steamhammer abandoned its US imprint still in the 80s, so it is certain to be an early press, who knows how long it was before they added barcodes to the Euro versions.

It's not a theory and I'm referring to this cd only, the info comes from MS and I can confirm as I have the barcode version and it's indeed from 1987 ^^

There is 1 year difference between the two versions. Maybe (don't have the other one to make a doublecheck).

I find incorrect information on musik sammler all of the time. It's like people that take the Metal Archives for the be all, end all of referencing data, it's very naive. And musik sammler is a German site, hence, why I said "German guys". Any site that has user-entered information/data has tons of flaws and inaccuracies. In this case it might very well be true, but don't believe everything you read from a single source.
