This is NOT a recommendation as the band plays a strange mix of Misfits and Hard Rock/Metal but it's super rare and mega obscure. So this is more for the Wheelz of Steel lovers, though the price is quite high but I haven't seen a copy for many years now. Prohably even just a testpressing ... have only seen 3 copies yet, this one included!

Secrecy's vocalist sounds like a cow.
There is one album that nobody wants or cares about and you can find copies for 1 E anytime and I always use these copies to enclose for free when I send stuff to friends and they are always positively surprised coz they did not expect such a high class Melodic Metal/Hard Rock album and it's Aidean "Promises". Also Javan's LP is great Melodic Metal and in case I haven't mentioned yet Adamantine's "Rapid eye movement", sounding in places like Helloween without vocals.

Are you talking about the band putting out Art in Motion and Raging Romance ? Because if so, it's one of my personal favourite :V

Exactly. One of the few german records that are worth keeping.

Their second is good and I liked it when it was released but it didn't aged that well compared to the debut (and 88 demo of course).

Some good, some bad songs. But for this price it's still a nice addition to each Teutonic steel collection.

Secrecy's debut is phenomenal, 2nd album is great also! Sounds like a cow???? Cows in Germany should sound good then.

Hehe, he sounds like he has something in his throat, a potato or a Knödel or something. German vocalists basically are quite bad. The good ones did waste their talents on demos mainly. In the late 80's a few bands did private/indie pressings and had better vocalists, but sadly Secrecy's "Knödel Throat" isn't one of them ...

*high five*
Second album is even more varied compared to the debut.
And let's not forget the early Sweet Cheater album, somebody should reissue that on cd !

Since some of the Bands from the GDR have already been mentioned, we should not forget the mighty TITAN:

Early Maiden meets Hansen Helloween.
And now don´t tell me that you don´t like this?!?!?!

Me finally remembering to upload Alan's review of this classic also justified some thread-necromancy...
Are these guys playing live?
