We of JQ had a bunch of popular bands as influences back then, let me mention some: Judas P, Scorpions, Queensryche, Y&T, Angelwitch, Accept, Dio-Rainbow, Lizzy, Maiden, Saxon, Riot etc.....

Believe theres nothing to admit here, all of these guys already had our respect back then - Yngwie and Europe i believe all of you now about, but both Ragne and Styrbjörn of Heavy Load where ( are? ) musicians of star quality, and they produced great heavy metal back then. So the right word here is respect rather than influences......

This weekend i had a prominent visit at my house by 2 great guys, DaN and mordred. We had a little HM-session, discussing the old school of HM - really enjoyed it! DaN and mordred really are 2 great guys with a flaming interest in the old school of HM, i believe a great HAIL to these brothers of Metal is in order - they really keep up the spirit, and preserves the flame, so that we all can enjoy good music and endure in a world full of confused pop,synth-listeners. By the way Stormspell, i believe you have stuff coming your way soon......

Well, it's always kinda hard to compare a band with just a handful of demo tracks to their name with bands having released several albums, but in this case I'd have to agree.
