Divine Victim: (first manilla road track i ever heard btw, more than 15 years ago and got me hooked forever)

How and when Pagan Altar got propelled to underground stardom is plain for all to see (I have been very active in the scene for a very long time and remember exactly the days all the ex corpsepainters turned true metal and were given a helping hand in being true by certain people) and i will not bother elaborating much further, bar saying that people are expecting someone to dictate to them what to listen to,and that is pretty much alright, but does not qualify deifying anyone.
I am not saying people had Pagan Altar imposed on them, but i Am saying that hailing one band out of literally hunderds (thousands?) of NWOBHM bands just because you got em served on a plate and were TOLD they are legitimate and alright for you to hail-in-retrospect,does not godliness constitute.
These matters apart, musical tastes per se are non negotiable, each their own.
I am so true my mp3 player's screen has slight ringwear

Fair enough, with the benefit of perspective I'm sure it could seem like that - I'm a relative youngster afterall!

The username is actually from Witchfynde's song of the same name, but both are great!
