The Corroseum forum (new design under construction)

So... back on topic. Rich mentions that if (and when) the forum is back, it'll be under a different guise, with different moderators. Are any of the current moderators likely to take over the actual running of the forum? Pat?

I'd love to....but I'll need to talk with Rich first. The thought did enter my head though.

Er... Dodens Grav, I'm not the first person to 'claim' that Rich is prone to making things up, so do some looking around before you become righteous.

Yeah I talk about what new stuff I don't like, when it comes up, I don't have favourites like 'Rise Above' or 'MDB' that have to be slagged off year after year ad nauseum. <-- But enough of that, it's a pointless issue.

Rich isn't the first person to claim that you make things up either. I, and seemingly everyone else, don't give a shit what happened between the two of you and it influences my opinion on both of you not at all.

Why, so you can just retell a bunch of story that discredits them, as if there would be any added incentive to believe those stories? The Miskatonic forum is gone, and I don't care enough to dig through old Hellride threads. The simple point is that no third party has any reason to believe either one of you are telling the full truth and that you shouldn't expect otherwise.

If you can't give me any 'evidence' for a thing that there's really no reason for you to be an ass over then just shut up. What REASON have I to lie? Rich's lying occurs when he is trying to win an argument - just ask around.

It's one internet person's word against another internet person's word, and I have no good reason to believe either one over the other, nor do I have any basis to speculate over their motives, so, once again, I couldn't give a fuck about what you have to say about Rich Walker, and I couldn't give a fuck about what Rich Walker has to say about you. It's like asking a Nazi what he thinks about Jews or Glenn Beck what he thinks about Karl Marx.

looking at the whole thread just makes me wonder, has anyone been banned from this forum??

...and btw, The Corroseum is the only internet forum im part of,i find others pretty much lacking of interesting threads....

There was that Fucking Åmål character and one guy who was really annoying and was banned several times but came back with different nick names all the time. That's the only ones I remember.

I've read through the thread properly this morning and it seems it has developed into a discussion over a person (Rich) who's not registered here and can't speak for himself. As an admin it puts me in an awkward position - go 'yay free speech' or respect the integrity of a third party? From the little I've gotten to know him he seems like one of the good guys, so I'm going with option #2.

Weather the critique/praise is justified or not, most have had their say by now, and the original subject - news about the forum being put on hold - is out so this thread has served its purpose.
