Since we're including post-NWOBHM albums (but without Avenger's permission
) I am obliged to add
DELIVERANCE - Deliverance
DELIVERANCE - Evil Firendship
Your fear I see
No difference to me
For the weak – Deliverance
Like demons of the night
I am your very fright
Through the stench – Deliverance
In hell I was born
Mortals I have torn
I destroy – Deliverance

Good against Evil, Evil sure to win

Still in the 80s though. But you can put it out from the list if you like. It's the debut that matters most! The ideal album to discourage someone from starting listening to metal. I officially declare that I'm pathologically and psychologically addicted to a morbid degree to the title track and its very possible to hurt severely anyone who stands near me whenever I hear it.

Dude, go read a biography or two and use some common sense.omen of hate wrote:Thanks a lot to Mr Avenger for another internet metal lesson. Let us know when your "NWOBHM matrix-numbers encyclopedia" is ready.
If the movement started in the late 70's, how is 1985 still NEWWOBHM?

Because the expression NWOBHM has lost its initial meaning, and continued to be used as a whole to label bands who started in that era and after.
Talkin' about common sense, why do you still use the term NWOBHM in 2009 if it's dead in 1983 or so ? 27 years after, it's nothing new anymore...
Because when refering to that period it was still new...omen of hate wrote:Talkin' about common sense, why do you still use the term NWOBHM in 2009 if it's dead in 1983 or so ? 27 years after, it's nothing new anymore...
