They are there because some have asked me and I didnt see a reason why not to put them there. It is a way for me to express my gratitude to the
few wholebuying dealers and distros for the ongoing support. The logos you see there are the ones which pay me cash for my releases and that's why I didn't mind endorsing them on the traycards, that's all.
They didnt pay me money for this, nor there are hidden costs or catches for the buyers whatsoever, so I really don't understand why the fuzz.
The Corroseum logo is also there because not only I discovered JQ and got in contact with Anders here on this board, but DaN single-handedly produced the entire project and took care of everything; from transferring the tapes, through scanning materials, to translating the lyrics and such. If it wasnt for him this release would not be what you see today. The least I could do was to put his logo on the traycard.
It really astounds me that I have to explain all this, seriously, in a million of years I'd have never guessed the one thing on this release people would pick about would be some traycard logos...
Hey, I could really care less that those logo's are there. I'm not going to refuse to purchase something due to cover art. I was just curious as to why. I already knew the story behind The Corroseum logo once I saw it there as I saw the original thread where ideas where exchanged. Although, in my opinion that's the only one other then the Stormspell logo that really belongs as the rest had nothing to do with the actual release. Either way, it's obviously your label and you can do as you please. Thanks for taking the time to answer my question.

I understand the reasons, and I certainly don't mean to stir shit. Sorry I didn't foresee the effects of my comment. I shouldn't even have mentioned it, because it's simply a minor, easily-ignored cosmetic flaw on an otherwise sterling release.

They are helping me sell it - it is a good enough reason for me. Without them Stormspell will be dead. My own distro sales are not enough to keep it alive.
I didnt want to put only two dealers there (which have asked me) and leave the rest behind, so I offered every wholebuying dealer I work with if they want their logo on. Hence the crowded effect, but I think this was the only fair way of treating everyone equally. I'd have also included all trading partners, but there isn't enough space for everyone, so they are on their own
It is not only on this particular release though. Those logos have been on every traycard I've released since late 2008

Just received the Jonah Quizz + a bunch of others (including Anacrusis 2CD) from Sentinel Steel a few days back. The JQ is a great CD indeed! Now I hope someone could think about printing the cool cover artwork on T-shirts.

Thanks for supporting those releases man, appreciated!
I'm pretty sure the band is planning some T-shirts in the near future. DaN will post some info when the time comes, I'm certain.

I'm glad your package made it safe and sound to you and you like the cds. I'm going to take the packaging to an entire new level with my next batch of releases with having a pit-art on the discs whenever applicable.

Repulsive Records carry it so you can pic it up either in the store (St. Eriksplan) or via their webshop.

Kudos to Stormspell and the annoying dwarf aka Dan and of curse the band for this excellent release.
I ran into Johan Langquist this weekend at Bauhaus of all places.
He was amazed that something that was recorded almost thirty years ago when he was a teenager got a release today.
He did confirm that he’ll play with Candelmass at keep it true next year and didn’t rule out doing more shows
To hear new music by Langquist he directed me to
http://www.skytunes.se/.
I haven’t been able to listen to the songs yet as my soundcard is kaput

The song Lion Calls is the one to listen to, the others are really boring.
