It's impossible to only name one band in this thread. I give it a try anyway and throw in Upwards Of Endtime... I love all of their records and I think it's a perfect blend of 70s Rock, Doom Metal and classic Heavy Metal. Phil's a helluva nice guy and an awesome singer, too.

Please pickup their LP Regeneration. My fave release of '07. It's one of the best the US has to offer, and that's saying a lot considering the vast amount of great metal from the States. Fantastic US steel! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Orodruin have been around for over 10 years, they released their first demo in '99 I believe.
