Some Zed Yago would be nice...The frear of death is a classic and same goes for Velvet Viper's Merlin.Oa opus in my book!
Don't forget Warlock:some Homocice Rocker or Metal Racer would be awesome!

Can anyone help?
Hmm, that's weird.
I used winrar to compress it, so maybe try using that same program to open it? It may be that Winace is not compatible, but that's just a guess.
Possibly try extracting the folder before opening? Another possibility, hope these help.

That's awesome. I like Heart about 200% more now.
Also wanted to say that I've listened to the compo about ten times now and I am enjoying it very much but there IS a slight slump in around Black Lace, Masque, Taist of Iron. I guess it's too much straight - and slightly generic, sorry! - HM there for me. We would need some thrash or death to break that cluster up
Just thoughts for the next compo, the flow on this one is great besides that bit!

While I don't agree that Black Lace, Masque and Taist of Iron are weak points in the comp (that Masque track is great!), I think you have a point re: the thrash/death thing. How about something by Holy Moses (and Sabina Classen on the cover) on volume II?

For thrash you must add some early Jurassic Jade. My vote goes for "ZI AUUUULD KINGDOM OV HJEEEEELL!" or "Complete Death".

I agree, those two tracks ruin the whole atmopshere of the CD,with Masque commiting the crime of playing some metal not tainted by thrash or death in a time and place where true metal reigned.the UK in 1988.
and Taist Of Iron's uncalled-for war-march beats, marring the movement of true metal in the planet's HM Capital, ita est Tacoma,Washington. This unashamed wimp-out led to their gold platinum LP and a world tour in which they employed Motley Crue and Nuclear Assault as support bands, the two true leaders of underground metal, that were forced to release private LPs and live in a cardboard box in Paraguay due to their underground metal not being spoon-fed to the masses, unlike Taist Of Iron.
The only way to amend this hineous crime is by including Victoria Silvstedt and Within Temptation in the next edition of the CD.And by organising a Corroseum pilgrimage to the next Nightwish gig in Whereeveruku, Finlandia.

The BBC would like to apologise for the irony inherent in this post, those responsible have been sacked.
I beg to differ and stand on the opposite side of the riverbank, can we have some more heavy metal on the next one please.Burnin Desire,Black Knight,Morgana(It),the Ignitor opus 'Grey Ghost',Mandrake from Germany, and of course Strange Machines by The Gathering.

MASQUE and especially the written-once-in-a-lifetime track of TAIST OF IRON are the best moments of this compilation. Just my 2 cents.
