I think Mythical & Magical was released first in 2006 as a CD and the vinyl version came in 2007. One of the best albums of the decade anyway..

I got the new Grand Magus recently. a good album for sure but I doubt I'll go back to it much.
there were not the ever-looming shadow of them being racists fucks, however cryptic or blunt they are in lyrics and interviews, one example: split with der stürmer and mudoven, lyrics on metal-archives, makes me want to vomit. guilty pleasure that could not be guiltier. it also makes the pleasure half as pleasurable. on the other hand no problem for me downloading the album. on yet another hand, should I even talk about the music here? oh fuck it. I'll just make another thread..
it's been a long time since I've listened to Arghoslent. they were always something different in the death metal world. your post actually made me check out that album. about halfway into it, but to my ears this is the best they have ever done! even if your're not into death metal you should check this out. a rare and awesome cross of heavy and death. COULD definitely be up there IF...vansinne wrote:Arghoslent - Hornets of the Pogrom

I'm with you on that. I just got the album last week, but this one will probably find it's way into my top ten of the year (it's been a great year with several top class releases).zincalloy wrote:A disc i liked a lot is Serpents Saints-Leather Lucifer .They have totally 80s feeling and with this name of band and album can't go wrong
I loved the ADX album too first couple of listens, but I've tired of it and can see lots of weaknesses now. Hope it has more of a lasting value to you.THRASHER BE wrote:adx - division blindée

The only album I've really liked from 2008 is Lunarium - Journeys, Fables and Lore. It's certainly not a flawless masterpeice, but it's a great debut and I expect better things from the band in the future. They remind me of Slough Feg a bit.
I ordered the new Hammers of Misfortune albums, but they haven't arrived yet. Hopefully they're good.
