Alot of great songs mentioned here, I'll add my favorite song Judas Priest "Run of the Mill". Come to think of it the whole run of Never Satisfied, Run of the Mill and Dying to Meet You is quite epic. I'd also like to nominate them for the worst attempt at an epic song "Lock Ness".

Agreed and petition signed. That chorus really makes me cringe.
OT I was just listening to the mighty Thor. When Gods Collide and Ride of the Chariots must surely qualify. Really good stuff.
