I've read in a few places that Sanctuary had a pair of demo tracks released on the Northwest Metalfest compilation. I have the 1984 NWMF LP and there's no Sanctuary on it. I assume that there is another compilation with the same name, perhaps from the following year's festival? (I'm guessing it was an annual thing, but I really I don't know.)

Re: Sanctuary- Don't know... could the ref be to some of the Serpent's Knight material rather than Sanctuary material??

Based on
this site I think the 2 songs are "Battle Angels" and "Soldiers of Steel", though I can't read whatever language that is (Polish?) so I'm not sure. I know Serpent's Knight did "Battle Angels" but the other one isn't listed at
their site. Either way it doesn't bring me any closer to finding the version of Northwest Metalfest with these songs. I know there was a cassette version but I've never seen it. Maybe they were only released on that?

Can anyone tell me if A.R.G. - Entrance LP came with a lyric sleeve or insert? I got a 'new' copy from a shop overseas, it was shrinkwrapped and the vinyl looks virgin, but it is in a plain inner with no insert. Thought it was kinda strange...
Bump? Anyone?
No insert, black inner sleeve with photos on the other side and thanks list + "reindeer metal" logo.
Thanks for the reply. Mine has a plain white inner sleeve so it looks like I've been had.

Was Azra even extant in 1978?

Yes they were, though the only other Azra release that old I'm aware of is the Centaurus Pic-LP (typical 70's HR). This was a new one for me.

Phoenix (SWE) - Say goodbye
Is this EP good? From the coverart it looks GREAT! Nothing can be bad with this coverart, bandname and a member from Nagazaki.
How much is worth paying for this beuty?

It's your typical melodic Scanda-HM with some prominent "Yngwiesque" guitarwork. The only song I remember liking was the instrumental, the rest is more Europe/Treat-like. I think this was released shortly after their original vocalist died.
It's pretty rare but hard to put a pricetag on. Somewhere between 50-100 euros I'd guess. You could probably find it cheaper in Sweden though. 300-400 SEK maybe.

Hmm. Then 40 euros that I can get it for is a pretyy okay price. The question is though if I want something sounding like Europe:P Maybe I'll buy it just for the great cover

Anyone heard the Czech TURBO? What do they sound like? They have at least two albums that I know of, s/t 1984 and Heavy waters 1985 on Supraphon.

Thanks for the link, lunaboy! You're right, it doesn't sound that good but rather synthetic (programmed drums??), I'll skip on it.
