I've had these albums for 10+ years in my collection, but never bothered to listen to them, although I'm a big Sabbath-fan (all line-ups!). Well, I don't think they deserve the constant slamming. They're not the best Sabbath-albums, alright, but contain enough great songs to keep them in my collection.
Between the two records there's probably enough great songs for one killer album, but neither album is as bad as they're made out to be.
I love "Junior's Eyes" from "NSD" in particular.
Yup! Like that one too! Great singing from Ozzy, especially during the chorus.
Apparently it was written about the death of Ozzy's father which perhaps explains why he sounds so focussed and sings so well on this track.
Geezer's bass line is utterly fantastic too, almost funky.
It's swedish DM day! Playing such albums as Like an Ever Flowing Stream, Left Hand Path, Dark Recollections, Where No Life Dwells, Into the Grave, The Red in the Sky is Ours..
