Some days TE feels almost in the same league as the older stuff, but NSD?? No way. The title track + "Johnny Blade" would make a decent 7" but the rest is best forgotten. Imo.

I've been playing Watchtower's Control And Resistance the whole week. Pure gold I say.

That would've been best decision.

That would indeed make a great 7-inch, but the only songs I really don't like are the last three. But "Swinging The Chain" does prove that Bill Ward is a good singer!

Lama wrote:I've been listening to Black Sabbath's "Never say Die!" and "Technical Ecstasy" the whole week, just to check out if they are as bad as everyone says. I've had these albums for 10+ years in my collection, but never bothered to listen to them, although I'm a big Sabbath-fan (all line-ups!). Well, I don't think they deserve the constant slamming. They're not the best Sabbath-albums, alright, but contain enough great songs to keep them in my collection.
Between the two records there's probably enough great songs for one killer album, but neither album is as bad as they're made out to be.
I love "Junior's Eyes" from "NSD" in particular.

I like how Dave Vincenty Ross sounds on the first demo.
