Hammer are very good indeed.ION BRITTON wrote:In fact it's some of the best! Both may not be so metallic and they certainly lack the aggression that many other bands had, but they are of the highest music quality. Listen once again to tracks like Across the Line(Hammer) or Horsemen of the Apocalypse(Saracen) and probably you'll change your mind.Ryacus wrote:thats some of the worst nwobhm I've ever heard along with Saracen's Heroes, Saints & Fools.speedmetalpunk wrote:Hammer - Try It

It is, but it just works for me.DaN wrote:I recently gave HAMMER another chance in a record store a while back because of Ion's old post. I'm sorry, the opener was pretty neat melodic Metal, the rest just sounded like bland, wimpy hard rock to me

Did u listen carefully to "Across the line"? Man this is one of the best tunes i've ever heard. Truth is there are a couple of fillers, but the good tracks are really excellent, melodic NWOBHM at its finest to my ears, and not more hard rock-ing than many UK bands that are considered as 'metal' by some people.DaN wrote:I recently gave HAMMER another chance in a record store a while back because of Ion's old post.
