Does anyone have any info about:
Steelwings - S/T (Sweden)?
I heard that this sounds like a Swedish version of the U.S. Malice.
Can anyone add anything?
Thanks.

Aha! This reminded me that I actually got an e-mail from an old Steelwings-member a week or 2 ago. He found the 707 Inches article and offered to send me their 7" for free. I still haven't heard them but shall investigate. Both the LP/CD and 7" are quite rare.

Thanks guys.
From what I heard this is way too keyboard oriented and un-guitar riff based for my liking.
Although, from the one half song, audio sample it's hard to tell.
Sure doesn't sound like Malice either way...
Maybe the rest of the album is heavier/more metallic?

Anyone got info on the German SHIVA and their "Crossfire" LP? It's supposed to be Mat Sinner's (of SINNER) first band and released in 1980 on SL Records. Any good? Style? Or was it really released at all?
Edit: I know of the GODDESS SHIVA cd from last year. Just need info on the (supposed?) LP.

From what I heard it was never actually released. It also says it didn't on the website:
Despite the legendary energy of SHIVA's live shows, two attempts to record a debut album (1978 & 1980) ended up in disasters. The band had no experience in producing and recording professionally, so the tapes sounded like a mess in comparison to the "wall of rock sound" they usually generated during their live gigs. The incomplete results of those early recording sessions could never be released on record.
Regardless of a growing fan base, problems with changes in line-up as well as personal difficulties, lead to a split in 1980. Mat decided to form his own group SINNER. "

How much you have to pay for Morbid Saint's Spectrum Of Death in vinyl? Was the original LP or CD? How many vinyl copies exist? I know only about the No Colours press which is pretty limited.

Don't really have a qualified guess. Definitely below 50 euros.
>Was the original LP or CD?
Both.

No clue.

The original was CD only. The vinyl is an officially licensed Mexican press that came out circa year later if I'm not badly mistaken. Sealed mint copies of that Mexican vinyl should not cost more than 20-25€.

..bought my copy of Spectrum of Death on LP for $15USD a couple of years back [sealed original/deadstock]. Bought another last year (private sale) on a friends behalf on No Colours for $20AUD - sounds ok but print/layout/cover is ghastly, looks like a cheap boot and regardless of authenticity should be priced as one. [referring to NoColours version here]
either version on vinyl shouldn't break the bank I'd imagine
