I do so hate the cover but is it a good album? I guess so if you have it as the avatar?GJ wrote:Nice one! Thomas, the guitarist is an old pal of mine.Ernest Thesiger wrote:http://www.myspace.com/semlah![]()

Thanks will doGJ wrote:Good/great album (have yet to decide) & great cover imo. Guess you have to find out for yourself...
No, the opposite - it's not even the same line-up as the debut, but most likely the same people who recorded "Orgasm Of Death", THRASHQUEEN's "Ashes To Ashes" and a few more ME-miscarriages...ION BRITTON wrote:KALASCHNIKOV - Desert Storm
Another robo-metal gem, chock-full of monotonous drum machine, LOUD shouting vocals and insane whistling. In other words, a classic Metal Enterprises album.
Dan, did you say that this has actually the same songs with the debut?
Which one is more awful then? Should i go after the 1st one as well?DaN wrote:No, the opposite - it's not even the same line-up as the debut, but most likely the same people who recorded "Orgasm Of Death", THRASHQUEEN's "Ashes To Ashes" and a few more ME-miscarriages...ION BRITTON wrote:KALASCHNIKOV - Desert Storm

One hell of a funny record though. I seriously jumped out of my seat the first time I heard the opening track and the whistling (!?) starded. Far, far beyond weird

A true lover-or-hate cult record. I guess you could call them a German PILEDRIVER - hard, mean & simple Heavy / Power / Speed with lyrics so monumentally lame they could very well be improvised on the spot ("kill your neighbor, I do confess - beat him down into a mess.."). Even if it most likely was recorded in one take and most music written in the studio it's really catchy all way through. The graphics are some of the most outrageous ever on a ME-record and looks more like some harsh industrial band with an s/m-fetish than your average hard rockin' dudes.
