Great obscure looking single!
Uncompromising war on metallic modernism under the dictatorship of The Corroseum.

That would have been the Mercenary single. John Judge was replaced by Fred Melilo on the LP, so I always assumed the Judge single came first but I could be wrong.nightsblood wrote:Interesting item! Did it come out before or after the album? Looks like they're both from '79. I think I remember Keir talking about a single that members put out a few years later, but I've never heard of this one.
Was that about 4 years ago? If so it must have been the one I saw, in which case I made up the bit about the p/s.doomedplanet wrote:I don't know much about the single except this song appeared on 'From the Fjords'. If it is before or after I don't know. Beyond that it is an enigma. Maybe it came with a picture sleeve, who knows? I do know this is the only known copy(of course as soon as I say this another will show up, haha). It came from Paul Rote originally, he found it in the early 90's. After Paul went insane it went to John Haupt and Jim, then I bought it off Jim on ebay.
Here's a little CD contribution ...The Knell wrote:all nwobhm and no jap-metal makes corroseum a dull forumThe Knell wrote: ok all great shit

I can confirm that the Raccoon - Kept In The Dark LP is POP/AOR.Dirty Rocker wrote:Yes, I saw that LP on the record fair, Stefan Renström had it. He didn't know anything about this single either. The single is OK, not too heavy either. Bside is a pretty ok mid tempo hm song.LWR wrote:I guess the Racoon is the same band as which did a LP on Bums late 80's.
I don't have the LP,but have heard it is pops/AOR. If the 7" sounds heavy, might be interesting.
What is the Motara Vindar LP? Swedish metal comp??
btw,I don't think the Klipp Rock Vol.2 was released on 1979,despite it shows "79" on the catalogue number.
This is the "VOL.2" of the Klipp Rock and the Majesty sounds like late-80's/early-90's melodic Scandi-hard/metal,don't you think?
Motala Vindar is a pang records compilation containing one metal act that is cool. Don't see this comp too often.
Yeah, I thought it was strange too. It sounds like mid to late 80s. Also a melodic song with a band called Twilight that confirm this. I think Majesty is killer anyway. Would surprice me alot if this was a 90s release.
