Hi!
I just came home and saw that my auction ended like this:
http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... :MEBIDX:IT
Since the name of the bidder was already known to me, I've checked him a bit and found an auction, he did a while ago:
http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... 0494943811
So he already sold the CD I was offering for about 130 Euros and now probably will do it again.
What can I do? I am not really willing to give away the CD to someone, who wants to make big money out of it.
Any chance/ idea?

On the bright side, even you sold a CD for a price higher than the normal one for it

But on the other side: I've seen the bootleg going for more than this... .

If you want your stuff to sell for more then you should list it on the US ebay site more people look at it then the german site. And under the shipping and payment methods tab it says you only send to germany even though in your description it says you send worldwide.

If I was you I would have blamed on the American who bought the cd in that insane price. The Cypriot guy just sold it...

You're right but on the other hand I wrote that people should ask for the shipping cost for their country. I thought that people who really want something would be able to just ask for this. However, I agree with you but I wasn't aware about all this. When I look for something I always also look "worldwide", so I usually see all the stuff which is listed on other ebay sites than the US site.

What is that about? You can still contact the band through their myspace to get the CD.
And if you don't mind

You're also right but as you can see not everybody is aware about that. There is even a bootleg of this album available although the band itself is still selling the CD.
Karthago Records is selling the bootleg afaik.

wow, I was only talking about the cheap back catalog cds and all of a sudden I was Black-Marked as the trend whore. Guess not all Black Marks are good lol. You were right man on the building from scratch part, it's definitely not possible, but to be completely honest, I am only updateing some of my favourite CDs from re-issue to the very first press. Cuz I love them so much, and now that I have some money I think I shuold own the originals instead, and that's pretty much all about it. I never wanted to bluid a massive collection of rarities like the one you have. They are very sweet and alluring indeed, but it's really not my cup of tea. Besides, I don't even like all the CDs that are extremely expensive nowadays. There's no point for me to collect them unsess to show off. But then again, if I am one of those pathetic ebay kids that buy expensive CDs for respect, I think I have better ideas lol:

By the way, check this out, make sure to read the descriptions.

I don't know, but it is constantly reminding me of The 30 year old vrigin.

Didn't even know there was a bootleg of this, but not surprised Riermaier is selling it. BTW, the band are active and play gigs in Norway now and again. Saw them 2-3 years ago and they were really good.

It's normal eGay routine, even in its absurdity. I had this Watchtower "Energetic..." IOA pictured cd on auction (fixed price with free offers) since 3 months, and Pricekillers001 sells the same cd with original red case by open auction for 41$.
After a couple of days, I receive an offer of 70$ ! And it wasn't even with the original red case ! He paid 70$ and instead of asking for the missing shipping cost I sent it right away xD
It's normal. Only on eGay though.
