Me, Andreas and Lama went to see Manilla Road yesterday.
They burned down the house! (or should I say the 'shed'... the venue was really cool!) Everyone went crazy during 'Necropolis'!
We briefly talked to someone from France with a Corroseum t-shirt but I can't remember his name on this forum.

Yeah! Manilla Road was absolutely legendary! There was a certain little guy in the audience screaming "Street Jammer!!!" for two hours long... Any idea who that was, Tomas?

MR was kind of a letdown at KIT last year so I didn't go.
Did go see my friends of Evil shepherd. Young Belgian thrash band. On the first demo kinda repetitive but these new songs are a lot more varied/better! They've recorded a second demo which should be out next month, I'll post the link where to get it on the forum because this could sure interest some people.

@Lama:
Yeah, I wanted them to play Street Jammer! But you joined me in the yelling! I think I played Necropolis 8 times yesterday (blue vinyl Black Dragon version of course, it sounds better than my Roadster copy 8) )

so what are your opinions? must admit I left after 45 min of the KAAMOS set as I could barely stand anymore :oops: and their sound was awful - no guitars or vocals to be heard where I stood..

still a great evening over all for me - NECROS CHRISTOS were amazing, I found myself a new temporary favorite band (valid for the time being :wink: )

Saw THOR today (well 9th of june actually). They played my favourite song of them "Let The Blood Run Red" and what's best the gig was totally free! Though they played in a tiny comic store :D

Tonight GUNSLINGER in Waarschoot (Belgium). Featuring Alan Davey (ex-Hawkwind / Bedouin). Heard a lot of good rumours about this band. They sound like Motörhead did anno 1980. Curious...

Saw them two months ago, really good. Indeed like listening to motorhead. The drummer is nice to look at.
The frontman really liked my girlfriend too, she got a free CD and he said he'd put us on the guestlist for any future Gunslinger show we want to attend :lol:

Hmm concerts...
Next week there's a band called Ramming speed playing. I suspect one of the new wave of old school thrash metal bands so could be interesting.
Then after that Asphyx/Desaster/Necros christos in Germany.
And after that Obscene extreme in Czech republic.

Really bummed I have to miss Pentagram (Chili) playing with Pentacle... :cry:
