For one thing, it proves that interest in US 45s is growing. Even though there's only one bidder above 11 euros, 14 people are watching the auction.

The Tales of Medusa effect ... they gave away their early stuff for free and people sold it immediately for ... :(

PS: If you, once you've finished the book, put it up piece per piece and week by week at ebay, you'll be able to buy a Ferrari within 6 months ... but I don't want to burn evil ideas in your mind.

auction has just started and it's the highest price that this LP has seen yet according to popsike ...

But it seems there's something wrong with the labels coz mine looks different, the black/white colours are inverted.

Yep.

Everyone I thought might be able to help
Or who asked for one before they were all gone.

IE people who had spent enough money on records in the past. And hard to ask for something you don't know is available for being requested.

WHAT?

I would say out of the first 60 copies I sent out 50 of them went to folks how had NEVER bought anything from me.(Soul, Disco, Funk, 50's... Dealers here in the USA)

Hell DAN got a copy and I don't think he ever bought anything from me

and the next 40 went to anyone who asked,
I thought everyone knew I was doing this for the past 4-5 years now. People asked through this site up until 3 months ago

You just don't have a clue do you.

The guy selling it on ebay hasn't spent any money with me in 10+ years.
and I hardly ever even talk to him MAYBE 1 time a year just to say hello.
But somehow he heard of it and asked for a copy.

I remember right from the start when you mentioned this book, and never had any idea it was possible to get a copy, I certainly didn't just assume and ask because I would feel rude doing that. Even if this exchange now is more rude than that haha, point is, didn't know there was a chance. Again it might be better to be clearer on certain issues right from the start, so needless confusion is avoided. Like when you said you've had it with helping people here, and a lot of people were baffled, then only later was it made clear that some members had been sending rude PM:s...

So have you ever seen a copy of the COVEN-King of the hill/Battleaxe single? Does anyone really own it or is it included in the book?
