My personal faves from this lot is still I.Q. ZERO's "Murderer", IRONSIDE's "The Ironsides" (fight, kill..) and WITCH's "White Death".

I think I've uploaded most of the goodies from the Swedish comps by now, but if anyone still is curious about something from the article or need reups, just let me know and I'll put together a Part 2.

I really would love to hear the bands you praised in the review of "Girls & Boys - Helge's '87".

I posted it in another thread long ago. Seems the file is still up: http://rapidshare.com/files/31630335/Helges.rar.html

..although this would rather belong in the old Crap-Metal thread. Or maybe not on a Metal forum at all? "Special" is such a small word.. *sigh*

Holy crap, I just got a e-mail from Bitte Hjälmås in WIZ

Seems a friend of hers found my review of the "Heavy Metal" comp and forwarded the link. Gonna mail her the 2 WIZ cuts now since she never got to hear them.

  It seems a lot of members of old forgotten acts are rejunevated through this forum.

Hey Dan tell her that there are at least two fans of WIZ in the earth. So her singing wasn't meaningless :) .Ask her for more WIZ stuff and infos and of course some pics of her
I wait anxiously for more about WIZ.

Been playing the comp some more; I'm impressed at how consistently good the songs are (well, except maybe WIZ... they're kinda 'special' :) ). The BLACKBIRD track is awesome. Did they ever do anything else?

The Metal songs from the Hungerian "Garazs"-compilation (1988) upon request:
http://rapidshare.com/files/109029978/V ... s.rar.html

I only included the STRESS, MORRIS, MOBY DICK and CLASSICA songs but I think that was all the metal there were on the comp. Or at least all the good Metal.

Yeah the other tracks on Garazs aren't that great except that I thought the song by Lady Macbeth is some what interesting at least

Missio weren't featured on Garazs, they were on Robbanasvezely.

I'll upload that jap comp HEAVY METAL FORCE III soon. It has some more known bands like JURASSIC JADE, X, SABER TIGER (Yokosuka), MEPHISTOPHELES, JEWEL & CASBAH and some pretty obscure bands like JACKAL, APPEAL!, OFFENDER, RUDE SEDUCER and SQWIER (If I'm right JUN who joined later in X too and who formed the thrashers ROMMEL was in this band at the time).
