This was in the recent batch of neonblack auctions; it got a lot of attention but I'm not familiar with it at all. Just curious since I'd never heard of it
Thanks!
I have a passing familiarity with this band aka I recently discovered them, listened to both their albums, and they began to grow upon me. .

Heavy rock is their game, perhaps even proto-metal, with doomy and psychedelic elements, and face-melting guitar solos. This is their second release, which is more straightforward than their debut, Sinister Soldiers, which imo is a better album.

If you are into this kind of rock, checking them out wouldn't hurt. Especially if you like Dust of Hard Attack fame.

Thanks for the info. Might check 'em out based on your description. I've heard that Dust album but TBH I don't remember anything about it offhand, other than the cool cover art

One question about Iron Works / Azra shaped vinyl:

I have "Beware it's square" square black & white vinyl which shows Mersinary & Rawshock logos on the back. However only Rawshock's logo is present on vinyl's label, m-a lists all songs to Rawhock here

http://metal-archives.com/release.php?id=195260

and I couldn't find any Mersinary track from their other releases, which would be titled as one of the four tracks here.

My question: Is this a split release or only Rawshock's???

Tracks are:

SIDE A:
- blowout
- self-destruct
SIDE B:
next life
enter reality

Well,it should be both bands featured on this LP,but the tracklisting on Rawshock's side on the label mentions all four tracks from Rawshock.I know there's one more supposing release with 4 Rawshock tracks(probably the ones mentioned on there),but I'm also starting to wonder.....The side Mersinary should be absolutely not a mistake though, since both tracks are theirs, just the titles aren't mentioned, you know mr. Azra-man,always playful....

ARIA - Blood for Blood LP.

I just got that - the printing quality on the sleeve is awful, nothing strange there, common in many Russian records. On the back of the sleeve there is the logo of the Sintez, with 1-013-C-6 written below it.

What I find odd, are the labels on the record itself, they have only the bands logo, the number of the side and the titles of the record and the songs. No mention of the record company, or a single copyright notice anywhere.

On the run out grooves, there is a sequence of numbers.

Side A: 060 -31639/1 - 1
Side B: 060 -31640/1 -1

Bootleg, or not?

Identical to mine. No chance in hell this has been bootlegged on vinyl (...yet?)

What I DO wanna see is "Megalomania" and "Whom Are You With" on vinyl - in any shape or form. Bootleg or not, I don't really care...

need some info from the specialists for southamerican madness here:
was the Astaroth (Col) - Guerra De Metal 7" ever bootleged? If so it must have
been approx 5-6years ago. If someone has some info on this matter please let me know.

Thanks in advance!

Sounds VERY unlikely. "Mint" copies would have shown up on list if that were the case, and so far I've only seen beat up ones.. If any at all.

thought so aswell, but I sold one on ebay some time ago and the buyer told me it is most likely a boot (on a side note, got mine like 5/6 years ago and it looks rather good for an old columbian EP, I just thought I was lucky then and didn´t collect further informations). Anyhow he has another copy and will send some pics to compare them. I will let you guys know here also once I got them.

I think it depends on the fact that the LP was pressed during a quite chaotic time when it came to Russian business in general (including record companies), legal notices and company names weren't very important when there were basically no laws governing copyright and such things.

Yea, who would bootleg such an album one can ask, but why not...

Several of even the rarest Colombian vinyls came in different pressings, so if stuff like labels, sleeve quality and matrix etchings differ it still don't mean they're bootlegs. (Just so you know)

Actually I have noticed too that too many "mint-looking" Astaroth EPs have been offered during last 5 years or so. Also I have noticed same thing with Herpes EP. I think we even discussed this theme some years ago here also.

One sample (and I have seen many EPs in this condition):
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... K:MEDWX:IT

My EP has big hole in the centre and label says Metal Records.

Its just my observation from distance. I have noticed quite many mint (at least on picture) Herpes and Astaroth EPs since 2005/06 or so. Therefore my doubts or questions.
