I split the CD v/s vinyl discussion to a separate topic in Killing Technology. Fire away!/Admin
Just so you know, Anders recently put up a JQ myspace page:

You should have told me prior purchasing the CD. I'd have gladly scratch em with a permanent sharpie for yaProfessor Black wrote:This is a great release. My favorite oldie reissue since the Dragonslayer CD.
My only complaint is purely non-musical, that the back of the CD looks like a race car with all of the logos thrown on there.

I'm always happy to customize a CD for a customer. From now on we can offer two editions to accommodate every need:
Regular "racing-car" version with logos:

Special "scratch" version for sensitive customers:

And for the OVERLY-sensitive customers here is the very special and collectible the MEGA-scratch version:

I haven't had a chance to pick this up yet either. I've never been a big fan of non-English vocals, so it hasn't been that high on the priority list.
This is also the first time that I’ve seen a scan and never knew that "The Corroseum" logo was on the back insert either. I guess this would be the first Corroseum release then…
This reminds me of that thread a while back where people were making suggestions on what The Corroseum "label" (if it were to ever exist) should release.
I don't understand why all the distribution labels are there though...

They are there because some have asked me and I didnt see a reason why not to put them there. It is a way for me to express my gratitude to the few wholebuying dealers and distros for the ongoing support. The logos you see there are the ones which pay me cash for my releases and that's why I didn't mind endorsing them on the traycards, that's all.Avenger wrote:I don't understand why all the distribution labels are there though...
They didnt pay me money for this, nor there are hidden costs or catches for the buyers whatsoever, so I really don't understand why the fuzz.
The Corroseum logo is also there because not only I discovered JQ and got in contact with Anders here on this board, but DaN single-handedly produced the entire project and took care of everything; from transferring the tapes, through scanning materials, to translating the lyrics and such. If it wasnt for him this release would not be what you see today. The least I could do was to put his logo on the traycard.
It really astounds me that I have to explain all this, seriously, in a million of years I'd have never guessed the one thing on this release people would pick about would be some traycard logos...
