np/ H-Bomb Coup De Metal

On that level, anyone that drinks lots or is generally chemically dependent, is anti-Heavy Metal. Think about it, what are the values that HM is about? Willpower, independency of thought and action, a desire for self-betterment, triumph over death!

Anyone that is a drunkard is striken from the HM roster

(also anyone that dies!)

I just will state something: if one out of 100 guys like what I have showed/played in a sincere way, my goal has been reached. I dont mean thousads of guys will follow the way of metal, if just a coupe of them trusty love Metal then I dont mind. Quality over quantity.

Haha, that's the "clean" (not necessarily meaning only chemically independent) side of metal. But there's also the mean-spirited and filthy one. The more "rock 'n' rollish" if you like. And it was the one that was described before.

Yeah I agree the more dionysian side. I concern myself with the 'clean' side more so that's why I talked about that :P

So true.Especially here in Greece there are countless ''die-hard'' Manowar fans/Epic Metallers(mainly influenced by some writers of the Greek Metal Hammer) who think metal is divided into two pieces the Manowar and the rest metal. You know the ones who raise the sword in ''epic'' gigs lManilla Road,Omen.....Epic metallers call themselves brothers of steel or so.Dressing in leather pants and making bodybuilding to build the perfect body  They only like True US Epic Metal with epic thematology. The basic criteria for them is how higher a singer can sing. These people i think are very egocentric and usually apart from Manowar and some 5 bands know nothing about metal and actually they don't care.

I just meant that there are many people that because they like Manowar they think they are Epic Metallers and vice versa when you hear Manowar they label you as Epic Metaller. And believe me Manowar mania is eternal in Greece.Personally i don't like when bands dealing all the time with Valhallas/Swords and Dragons it ends to be annoying. Also i dislike epic as a word and also epic/fantasy literature.I prefer more usual/life thematology.

P.S I have to clarify that i am also a Manowar fan especially of ''Into Glory Ride'' and ''Triumph Of Steel''.But i hate being labeled as Epic Metaller just because i like Manilla Road,Manowar,Liege Lord...

Wow, a TOS fan. You don't see many of those anymore.

I can't remember even being labeled as an Epic Metaller, even though I listen to quite a lot of epic metal. Must be a Greece only problem.
