Black signs on my monitor, great bitching and fake words, Avenger is here, the craziest "modest" of all modsss...FTOU!!
hahahaha, this only applies to the losers though.. there are worthy individuals who wear faded Sodom shirts, and drinking much alcoholAstaroth wrote:Metal way of life is code for not showering, wearing faded Sodom shirts and drinking so much alcohol you'd rival George Best (if he was still around). Pre-requisites include having no job, being extremely fat and ugly and fitting the stereotype metal cliche mould perfectly.
np/ H-Bomb Coup De Metal

On that level, anyone that drinks lots or is generally chemically dependent, is anti-Heavy Metal. Think about it, what are the values that HM is about? Willpower, independency of thought and action, a desire for self-betterment, triumph over death!
Anyone that is a drunkard is striken from the HM roster

Haha, that's the "clean" (not necessarily meaning only chemically independent) side of metal. But there's also the mean-spirited and filthy one. The more "rock 'n' rollish" if you like. And it was the one that was described before.Helm wrote:On that level, anyone that drinks lots or is generally chemically dependent, is anti-Heavy Metal. So true.Especially here in Greece there are countless ''die-hard'' Manowar fans/Epic Metallers(mainly influenced by some writers of the Greek Metal Hammer) who think metal is divided into two pieces the Manowar and the rest metal.ION BRITTON wrote:Another deadly metal-cliche is just about everything a die-hard MANOWAR fan would say. I always get the SAME fuckin' answers if i ask them about Into Glory ride, Hail to England, Fast taker, the lyrics, their shows and how lame were their last albums.

I just meant that there are many people that because they like Manowar they think they are Epic Metallers and vice versa when you hear Manowar they label you as Epic Metaller. And believe me Manowar mania is eternal in Greece.Personally i don't like when bands dealing all the time with Valhallas/Swords and Dragons it ends to be annoying. Also i dislike epic as a word and also epic/fantasy literature.I prefer more usual/life thematology.MassOfKthulu wrote:Especially here in Greece there are countless ''die-hard'' Manowar fans/Epic Metallers

P.S I have to clarify that i am also a Manowar fan especially of ''Into Glory Ride'' and ''Triumph Of Steel''.But i hate being labeled as Epic Metaller just because i like Manilla Road,Manowar,Liege Lord...
Wow, a TOS fan. You don't see many of those anymore.Fucking Åmål wrote:P.S I have to clarify that i am also a Manowar fan especially of ''Into Glory Ride'' and ''Triumph Of Steel''.But i hate being labeled as Epic Metaller just because i like Manilla Road,Manowar,Liege Lord...
I can't remember even being labeled as an Epic Metaller, even though I listen to quite a lot of epic metal. Must be a Greece only problem.
