The CHICAGO METAL WORKS vol. 5 was the last known to me Silver Fin Records release that was missing from my collection. I will post in a couple of days photos of all my silver fin items. I still have never seen Chicago Metal Works vol. 3 and 4. Does anyone know anything about them?

I think I recall reading something about them being released as cassettes only. But don't quote me on that.

That's what most of us think since we have never seen them. But the actual problem is that i don't know anyone that actually knows if they exist and in what format. :x

What about the bonus tracks on Tyrants? Are they good or is the LP worth buying just for them?

I once spoke with Jack Hammond from Tools Of Ignorance whose band was featured on #4. He confirmed that they were cassette releases. Here is a list of bands on both tapes:

Amethyst, Firestorm, Sgt. Roxx, Outrage, Unleashed, Ameret, Xstatic, Gypsy Blue, Whyte Rock, Sphynx, Redeemer, Xcellsior

Crystal Aze, Wired, Tyrany, Lovelace, Metal Agressor, Precious Metal, Tools of Ignorance, Vicious Circle, and Heavens Fate

The Tools Of Ignorance song on #4 is called "St. Etienne" and can be heard here:

The bonus tracks aren't that special but maybe necessary if you're a big Jag Panzer fan. Most are inferior versions of Ample Destruction songs and some rock oriented songs. I bought the LP because of the first four songs. The layout is killer with a great poster of the front cover.
