Ok, I wouldn't pay that amount myself, but it is a fact that copies with the poster hardly ever turn up. I've only seen a handfull of those being sold.

There's a copy on discogs for 27€ (vg condition).

One of the bandmembers has offered a copy on Youtube (comment section beneath the titletrack) - $2,500 "bin".

This could get interesting:

Less than 10 copies have ever turned up TMK and I'm pretty sure the band has been tracked and tapped.
Yes, someone got lucky on ebay a few years ago and got a copy really cheap; you can still get lucky on ebay sometimes.
Good luck to anyone interested. I won't be bidding on it; I have some large bills coming up this fall so I'm saving up for those :-/

Disclaimer- I honestly didn't realize this was Glockose's auction when i started typing this post.

Also, this has sold for $1000 at least one time in the past.

That is correct sir.
The only copy on popsike was a total fluke. Congrats to whoever got it for that price, that was a killer buy.
I know 4 collectors who own a copy, and I know what a couple of those copies sold for. If I share that info, someone will accuse me of being a dealer flunkie trying to hype items and inflate prices. If I don't share that info, I'll be accused of being a secretive elitist denying the metal populous of info they're entitled to. Hmmmm, I think today I'll go with 'elitist', it just suits today's outfit better than 'flunkie'. Yeah, it's definitely an elitist day. So all I'll say is that $40 was a helluva buy, and at least one copy sold for $1,000. I have no idea what the current auction will end at.

No one claimed entitlement to information. Information is something that you should definitely be paid for.

seems more like a shabby condition from the descripion, though. I'd rather have a fine working version without rotten poster.

Doesn't this belong in the Vinyl, tapes and Merch version?

Wow, well, there was an Extreme Aggression backpatch selling for 250€ not too long ago so this isn't too surprising. I don't think the value of old merch ever was this high?

Seems some of those who bought it for peanuts sell it for gold while people who really wanted it couldn't be on time for it.
