It strikes me as one of those "too good to be true" records.
From the description to the sleeve, if it's as good as it sounds/looks everyone would surely know of it.
I'm so old & cynical, but in my heart i just want to be proved wrong.
It's an excellent record for sure, but to call it a top-class record is a bit too much IMO. The compositions are varied with lots of catchy parts but are a bit too simplistic too.
And what about giving some cash to the band members who didn't got royalties back then ? ( if I believe the interview with Rob Graves in French fanzine Metal Titans.)

Sounds promising.
I see the band are also regarded highly enough to be cover stars here:

How you learned the actual Line-Up?Do you have their demos/covers?
Anyway thanx a lot for the info man.
Neptune was Jan Granvik's band not Björns Melanders.
I have the "Metal Knights" V/A LP, the line up stands in the booklet.

Need some help on two records: Persian Risk - Too Different and Riff Raff - Give the dead man some water.
Is this anything to have? Is Too different as good as the two singles or is it more like Rise Up?
Please help me with value on both of these two (preferably in euros)
thanks!

Riff Raff price seem to be around 20-30 euros in Finland nowdays. Maybe little more outside Finland.
I would say it's a classic in finnish hm scale, quite rough (vocals especially) and fast stuff at times. As Isten's guide to finnish metal says: "The third album "Give the Dead Man Some Water" was one of the rawest and loudest Finnish metal releases back in the day".

Okey, thank you! Then 25 euros is a pretty decent price to pay, I will think about it.
You haven't heard the Persian Risk EP?

The PR EP is supposedly more similar to Rise Up than to their earlier singles. None of the PR records are very expensive except the first 7".
That price sounds about right for Riff Raff. I've heard 2 of their albums; they're OK... each has some great songs but also some filler and a couple of duds. 'Give the Dead Man Some Water' has 1 outstanding track, seveal ok/decent tracks, and 2 duds. There's a copy on ebay for $49 Buy It Now, and personally that's a little more than I would want to sink into the album considering the musical quality. Good, but not essential.

I'll post the Persian Risk EP in Poisonoise for you a little later, that'll allow you to make up your own mind.
For me, musically it's like a mixture of the singles but also beginning to lean toward the style of "Rise Up", still good stuff though.
Look for it in about half an hour.
EDIT : LINK NOW UP IN POISONOISE SECTION - ENJOY.

I just noticed that two of the songs are also on Rise Up so I guess it's nothing worth paying for
