Fair assessment. Part of it's cultural; the region I grew up in tends to frown on 'bragging' of any sort, so folks downplay/are very modest about things. I'm pretty private by nature, so that's part of it too. I don't post pics/lists of my stuff for other reasons too:
--Almost everything I have has been posted here before. I don't own any exotic, never-seen-before metal rarities from Swaziland or The People's Republic of Bananarama or Isla del Screaming Weasels. Does anyone really need to see my copy of Salems Wych? It looks just like everyone else's copy

--My collection really is pretty small by Coroo- standards, so there's no bulk volume to display either. I've got about 200 singles, 300-400 LPs, and about 800 CDs, and almost none of the CDs are collectable.
--I'm about as handy with a camera as a walrus is with a jackhammer.

I will try to get my wife to take pix of my new music room so I can post them sometime, just because it's a fairly nice man cave IMO
