CARCASS still give killer shows, although their setlist is based basically on Heartwork and Necroticism, unfortunately not much stuff from their first 2 and imo best albums. Jeff Walker is simply 8)

Up the Hammers Fest 6th and 7th March. I am not into every band of the bill but at least Titan Force, Shadowkeep, Isole and Reflection will do the trick for me.

I agree, KREATOR is getting worse and worse live those last years !! and this year's gig won't change my views about it.

Next gig : JUDAS PRIEST/MEGADETH/TESTAMENT !

Unleashed tonight. Also 3 other bands playing, Belphegor or something is the only name I remember. I think I have seen some reviews of them. But Unleashed is the thing tonight.

Exodus and Overkill visiting my home town next Thursday.

A must see, especially since Overkill is playing sort of an old school show with classics only 8)

Man they sounded like shit in Spain... time to give up I think! Everything was off and to their defense they were having some problems, but hell when they started... booorring. Mille also talks too much! Aggression this, it feels fucking cool to be here that. Shut up and play! I've seen the Live Kreation DVD a million times, so I'm already sick of the routine!

And on another note: on the big screen there was a video to one of their recent songs (probably the best of the lot, but still crap...), Enemy Of God, the video clip looked like something from Korn or something.

And everything you guys said here was true. They were limp and powerless, played a lot of new ("nu") songs and I was not at all sorry to leave early to catch the last bus home. Loads of people I know were there though, and I got nicely drunk, so that will be the comfort for spending my friday night at that show. I'll probably never go see Kreator again.

loads of KREATOR-bashing here lately..

I saw them live about 2 years ago w/ CELTIC FROST and they didn't impress me much neither - can't very well remember about them being exceptionally bad, though (can't remember at all to be honest  ) but I don't regard their last three LPs being that crappy. wouldn't blame them for not sounding exactly like "Pleasure to Kill" 23 years later (which was undoubtedly a greater effort than anything they did afterwards!)

Witchcraft & Graveyard are support acts to Danko Jones thursday next week. I'm keeping my hopes up for Pentagram-covers!

Not sounding like 23 years ago, fine. But shite productions, dire vocals and puke inducing riffs aren't.

Looking forward to seeing Black Sabbath this year, I'm planning to go to some festivals before seeing Sabbath, but nothing is certain yet.
