Actually i quite like the whole EP, one of my faves.roihlem wrote:Armageddon - Raiders Of Steel
What an anthem! Sadly their other songs are quite mediocre...
I don`t know why but to me the whole EP sounds a bit amateurish (doesn`t mean bad)...maybe the production should be a bit more powerful I don`t know. In any case "Raiders Of Steel" could have been on the same level as "Medieval Steel"...pzman wrote:Actually i quite like the whole EP, one of my faves.roihlem wrote:Armageddon - Raiders Of Steel

There should probably be more punch in that EP, both in the playing and in the general sound. To me it sounds quite nice, but never close to being a favorite. I'll listen to it later today though, fell inspired to now.roihlem wrote:I don`t know why but to me the whole EP sounds a bit amateurish (doesn`t mean bad)...maybe the production should be a bit more powerful I don`t know. I played this CD to death when it came out. Have to put it on again soon. Sadly their other two works were dissapointing for me.MEXDefenderOfSteel wrote:Onward-Kindness of Strangers
one of the catchiest shit i have heard in weeks
Great song! Just ordered "Mandylion" on 2LP.Ernest Thesiger wrote:The Gathering's "Leaves". Kicking myself for ignoring them for so long. Anneke could sing "The Purple People Eater" backed by kazoos & farts, & I'd still be on the verge of tears.
weird to hear about that band here,my older brother loves it hence i know lots of their songLama wrote:Great song! Just ordered "Mandylion" on 2LP.Ernest Thesiger wrote:The Gathering's "Leaves".
