Because the printing house they used was so cheap whoever operated the cutting knife on their order was either drunk, bored, or plain incompetent and trimmed the traycards at the wrong line.

3 pages for my complete back insert copy(last page is the pic of the band)

copy with the missing spine is a two page insert(pic of the band and pic of some demon/warped vinyl in between)
3 pages, the inner ones are blank and the others are
1) cover art
2) song list
3) band pic

I recently bought a Target - Master Project Genesis CD from pricekiller001. The CD is a little odd. As there are so many boots already circulating, I'd like to be sure it's an original copy.

The CD scan:

Sodvat's bootleg CD scan:

Sodvat's original CD scan:

The 1st song mp3 file:
http://rapidshare.com/files/396537586/T ... s.mp3.html

The reasons why I doubted this CD are as follows:

1) The first song, the commotion of Chaos has an UN-NATURAL ending at 3:55, as it sounds like the last note wasn't played in full and the song was suddenly terminated. Don't know if other copies have the same ending or it's just mine.

2) In the band photo of the front insert, the right eye of the guy on the very right corner looks really odd like a 'black dot', don't know if it's the original bad photographing or a bad boot printing.

3) The matrix code is in the same position as Sodvat's boot, as oppose to Sodvat's original copy scan. But there is no wrong spelling of "Prohibited", and there is a space between Kein Verleih.

Anybody has any idea if this is the real deal or a much better version of the recent boot?

It looks like many others I have seen that were claimed to be original, but I've always wondered why it does not look like a normal DADC matrix. But you can bet that pricekillers has had tons of copies of this go through his hands so he would probably notice if something was off, he's been at this a long time.

And as stated before, the position of the matrix inscriptions relative to the printed disc surface does not matter at all. They are all in the same spot when pressed, but are rotated to a different position when the label is printed onto the disc, this is completely random.

Do you mean that all the Target CDs have a different DADC Matrix or only a particular number of them do?

And for the first song ending, does your copy sound the same as my mp3 file?

Nearly every single CD of the same pressing has the matrix area in a different location on the disc, that has zero to do with it's authenticity.

Can't tell anything from that picture.

The CD is too far and only the outside of the booklet is showing.

The identical bootleg looks exactly like that.

It's the boot, the first boot of this cd (back in 2001 or 2002 I think).
A "line" in the backcover go over the title of 5th song ...

It would be easier by checking matrix code or the inner pages of the booklet (this bootleg has white pages instead of Gama releases), but from the pic you can't see that ;P

But the CD ain't scratched :(
There are only very few invisible hair lines, nothing bad at all.
Maybe it's a boot?
