I already saw Candlemass perform with Johan Langquist once, at their 20th anniversary about two years ago. It was awesome, so it would be cool to experience that again.
On a side note, I wish they'd bring "Chapter VI" singer Thomas Vikström to Keep it true as well. They did five songs with him on vocals (of which three were from the Chapter VI album) on the 20th anniversary and it was just fantastic. Besides that occasion, they sadly never play anything from that album.

that lineup leaves no excuse for not going this time. must be there, even though I rarely leave my home for live experiences more than 10 kilometers away..

Someone should record Epicus in its entirety and put it out as a DVD.
Also, Watchtower, god-damn.

The whole 20th anniversary show is avaialable on DVD. With the exception of Blackstone Wielder, they performed the whole Epicus album with Johan.

It will be my first time at KIT this year - can someone tell me what the price of beer & food is like at the festival? I think I'll be doing it on a shoestring budget...

I went to Sweden for that show. Black Stone Wielder is my favourite track off of Epicus. The main reason I'm calling for this one to be recorded is because it'll be the whole album (more significant this way) and because perhaps now Johan will be more practiced (not forgetting a few cues and lyrics and so on). Small complaints but hey, it's one of my favourite records ever, with one of my favourite singers ever.

Damn, this line-up is such a killer. Now it's too much to bear and I have to go to my first KIT I think. Even if I have to sell my ass to get the money
Also I hope that seeing Candlemass live will finally make their music click fully with me.

Hi Friends,
we are happy to announce the next band for KEEP IT TRUE 13 in 2010. It will be RAM from Sweden, who are going to release their new album “Lightbringer” this year. After hearing the first songs it looks it will be a real masterpiece of molten metal. You can check them out at
www.myspace.com/rammetal. Now there is only the headliner for Saturday and one opening band missing, which we hope to announce both till KIT 12.

Beer was EUR 2.50 I think last year. You had to pay a small deposit for the cup which was refundable when you return it. Food was EUR 2 - 4 if I remember (fries, wurst, schnitzel etc.)

The canned ravioli I bring from home is delicious (by comparison), and also very cheap.
