So what's exactly the problem with this cd? As far as I can see the blue thing is just some crazy reflection and the cd looks quite legit to me.

As promised, it clearly show a difference between ebay europe and .com, availability of paypal or IBAN/BIC, but mainly the difference between shill bidding and normal bids ^^

Considering all the ebay issues about shill-bidding, bidder wars etc.
I've never tried this version, but I would actually think the best way to sell a metal cd on ebay is to put a rather high 'buy it now'- price, but also accept 'best offer'. In that way you can be sure that anyone who really wants the cd will make a reasonable offer that reflects it's value. and you'll probably avoid to some degree a buyer who buys it only to re-list it.

i always put my maximum bid on any interesting item when i found that on ebay. i don't add it to my watching list and wait to the last minutes of the auction. when i was ebay beginner, i waited to last minutes. but i found myself who bid for over amounts "just to win". and sometimes i cried to find any item which i missed to bid on but was ended for very low price.

so i don't wait to last minutes / seconds any more. now i bid for my maximum bid and forget the auction. if i win it, it means the auction was ended for lower price than my maximum bid, and if i got outbid, it is still ok and i don't cry as the item was sold for higher price than i expected. even if the seller do any dirty trick as like shill-bidding, i don't care. anyway if i win it, it means the winning bid is less than my maximum bid.

I don't think this is an efficient way of bidding. It gives people time to put a higher bid, when they see that theirs is not the highest. It encourages people to bid higher and higher, just as you felt the need to bid higher than you originally wished to. That way you either don't win, or pay more than you would pay had you bid in the last seconds.

A method which combines the best things in both those approaches is using a sniper, that will bid for you in the final seconds, giving no time for others to react.

yes, so after i bid, i forget the auction. i always bid on any item only 1 time.
assume that here is an item deserve $100 and start bid is just $1. then i bid on it for $100, and i hope somebody raise the bid. with my experience, if item's current bid is $70~$80 (for example), the item can be sold for the price without additional bid when last seconds. but if the item's current bid is just $5 (for example), the item can be sold for over $100 when last seconds.

we know what is the difference between kreator72's auction and thallos81's auction, for example. one start with low start bid, and the other start with high start bid. whose auction is sold for more higher price?? kreator72 get more, and thallos81 lost less. people think he can win it for low price as he wait to last seconds. but problem is there is another person think same thing as like you do.

so i hope somebody raise the bid as other rivals give up bidding. and if i win it, it means the auction was ended for lower price than i expected. that's why i don't wait to last seconds. of course, i admit such people wait to last seconds or use sniper program. but that is not my way.

So the most 'fair' way is when auctions are lsited as I mentioned above? A high 'buy it now' - price but also with the possibility of placing a 'best offer'?
In that way you avoid last second bidders, and most likely sell to someone who probably wants it for himself. I don't think you'll see ebayers like Thallos81 making offers for the cds he wants to re-list, because if there are no bids, the 'value' only relies on the offer. Does that make sense? (sorry for blabbering).

NOT first press, you can easily see the barcode ... at least Kreator gives correct infos in his auctions, while Thallos and that Wikking guy not ... (everything they sell is first press !).

Btw, Avenger's friend Diego paid 20.50 for Ravenous cd AH ... + shipping + another shipping from his 'friend' in Germany (I wonder who he is, I hope not Yetisued)

if you are a buyer 5E is fine.

It's not a piece a crap but I don't like many things about that album (even the mastering, lots of clicks and "noise" here and there).
But for die-hard thrashers yes a 5-10 euro would be fine
