Thanks a lot guys. Your posts are really useful, deeply appreciated.
Now it's all settled. :)

I've encountered a lot of strange CD conditions lately. The following is one of them:

Intruder - Live to die 1st press.

There is no spine missing, but there is a cut in the booklet. Anybody knows was this suppose to be this way, or it's a messed up copy of this not so rare CD?
Below are the images:

Maybe I can sell this CD to those who are looking for an intact back insert.

i think previous owner cut the booklet. some of old releases come with smaller or bigger booklet than the jewel case. in this case, the cd may come with bigger booklet than the jewel case.

I don't think a previous owner did it

Dave works in mysterious ways :)

I've had close to a dozen copies and none have had an oversized or cut booklet. But every single one had a spine (or part of one) missing. Only one that had both spines was the Greek boot :P

The later post 80's works, yes.

But I think he's implying that this is a xerox'd, unoriginal copy.

Mine is complete through and through. No cutted booklet, no spine missing or anything. I got it from a guy who lived in USA back then and bought it when it shortly after it was released.

If it's not a bootleg (and you have surely checked it already) maybe there are two pressings of that cd coming from IW ... one batch with both spines, the other (earlier or later) batch without one spine.

I bought in the early ebay days "Live to die" 'one spine' version right from them (Azra), which I sold immediately because I thought it was damaged lol (and never bought it again, damn).

I don't even understand why there are copies without one spine in first place anyway ! Very strange label ^^

how many pages is your insert, sov?

3 pages for my complete back insert copy(last page is the pic of the band)

copy with the missing spine is a two page insert(pic of the band and pic of some demon/warped vinyl in between)

This was the general consensus when this was discussed here before...
