Actually, the corner is bent behind the back the sleeve (check the other pics of the record) & not cut. So that 60$ is back being the worst part again

I saw these both... 19 feedback, and the 3 items I can still see from his feedback history are digital wallpaper photos for $0.27 each. When you click on those listings, it says the seller is from Poland, but in the record auctions it says he's from Austria

I guess as long as the buyer uses PayPal there's nothing to be worried about

If I recall right, there was another FOH from Poland some time ago, when it was offered for 6666$....Probably, it's the same guy and he is shipping it from Austria for safer shipping....Yes, I guess, with paypal there should be no risk...
Re: Insane Ebay Auctions - Vinyl, Tapes & Merch (2015)
Feedback on ebay really means nothing. A lot of sellers continuously get banned and then just turn around and create another account and do the exact same bullshit over again. Then you have sellers that probably receive countless reports and ebay does nothing about them because as long as they continue to make profit on the fees they really don't give a shit what is sold.
I'm more concerned over the guys that bid on stuff that willingly pay top prices regardless of condition. They are the reason so many sellers think they have a pile of gold regardless what a piece of crap it is. Anything graded under EX should be reflected in the final price but rarely ever is unless the sleeve is literally torn in half.

-Selling a 4-digit record with a one-sentence description
-Selling only a few super-expensive records and no regular ones
-Low feedback
-Conflicting country information
Atleast the records are photographed with the same background. Yet still, you're kind of a dumbass if you're bidding on those.
Then of course, 'paypal will cover me' implies that some people stop using their common sense.

My ideas exactly. And to add one more for me: private listing. To protect the "identity" of the bidder or to cover up shill bidding?humus wrote:-Selling a 4-digit record with a one-sentence description

I'm pretty sure this seller won't let these ones go for cheap (understandable ofcourse) I think it's not an auction that will "run honestly" i'm afraid. But that's nothing new on ebay ofcourse.
Re: Insane Ebay Auctions - Vinyl, Tapes & Merch (2015)
The fact that the current bids are exactly identical on both of them only goes further to prove this is shill bidding galore.
Never attribute to malice, that which is adequately explained by stupidity.

Why the hell would anyone buy that for $2, let alone $463?....
