Regarding the Atrophy CD, it's legit, however, without viewing the inserts for myself I cannot confirm the authenticity. There is the possibility that the inserts were missing or damaged at one point and were therefore xeroxed or reprinted by a past owner. I've seen this a few times myself. I really think that you are just being way too paranoid though...
About the Grinder CD's, I've found it rather odd that so many "Dawn For The Living" CD's have been popping up lately, especially granted how scarce these were only a few years back. I've heard of bootlegs, but can't say that I've ever taken much notice on how to tell them apart from originals granted that I already have copies myself. Anyone that's collected CD's for any length of time knows what a legitimate matrix looks like, so if you ask for a scan, even if you don't know the exact original matrix, you can tell based on the size, positioning and font etc. Stick to the basics.

My copy's on its way, but the guy offered free insurance for no particular reason after I processed the payment, don't know if he's trying to screw me up. After it has arrived, we will be able to tell if this dude's a boot seller or he just got lucky to have a box of "dawn for the living" from a guy who use to work for the record company. He also said that there will be another two copies up for auction lately. Accordingly to his selling history, for now, he has already sold about 6 copies.
If it's a boot, it must be a good one, cuz I don't think the previous 6 buyers didn't notice anything, they all pretty much paid 50 euro for it.

Hey man, don't be so ungrateful, I post this to inform you that if it's a boot, you don't have to fail into the trap. And now you are laughing at me because the auction went a bit higher than the usual 55euro?

Hey, just kidding, it was still a good price for the original. I guess in two years time it will be impossible to find it for that price.

Finally, I have received grinder - dawn for the living. But when I compared it with a CD scan from a mp3 files, I noticed that the matrix code is in different position (location with respect to the CD titles). I sent both CD scan to my friend, interestingly enough, none of these copies match the matrix code position he has. Could my copy along with the scan came along with the mp3 files on the web are both boots? If so, these son of bitches are getting so much better. The matrix letter are in exactly the same size and style to the original, it only differs in the position.
My DISC and booklet scan:

Back Insert:
The one came with mp3:

Please refresh this pages 2 - 3 times, there are totally 8 scans.

It's fine dude. I don't know what you mean by 'barcode position', you mean the location of the matrix code in comparison to the disc label printing? Those are almost always different.

So, you mean even for the same press of the CDs, the maxtrix code location for each CD with respect to the CD titles and etc is always different from each other? I thought this was the way to distinguish the original from the boots. The Target boots that Sovdat reported has smaller matrix code and also these are in the wrong potion / location.

I don't think you know what barcode is. This CD does not have any. These are two identical pressengs, both original. The bootleg has brown text on the CD.

Your GRINDER does not have barcode. If you are talking about the matrix number - there's always slight deviations depending on how the machine rotated the disc before printing on it..

Yes he means matrix code. My copy has it in ANOTHER place compared to those two scans ... so we have 3 cds, 3 different places of matrix code.
Should be like you said, the cds were randomly rotated before matrix is pressed.
Somebody should make a scan of the bootleg just to check... but who owns the boot of that album ? :\
Those "black" circles are actually made by the scanner right ? I have silver circles here, seeing in naked eye.
