Non-urgent CD Inquiries READ THE FIRST POST
I saw an eBay auction from last year that had a CD with "Dementia - Recuperate From Reality, 1991 Tombstone Records, CORPSE 003CD" listed in the descrip -- with an interesting ending of CORPSE 003 and the CD, itself, being green.
I have the same CD and it says PRO 024 and it's reflective, not green.
What's the difference and does it affect the price?

Just USA and EU pressings of the same album. A lot of Tombstone cds are like this (Silent Scream, Darklin Reach, etc.). No difference in price IMHO

Scream Records is a division of Top X Music.Zdan wrote:Does anyone know if the 2008 re-release of Tyran Pace "Eye To Eye" on Scream Records is legit or is it some sort of bootleg?
They look legit to me. http://www.topxmusic.de/startseite.html
Seems legit to me too. Thanks for the heads up!Warepire wrote:Scream Records is a division of Top X Music.Zdan wrote:Does anyone know if the 2008 re-release of Tyran Pace "Eye To Eye" on Scream Records is legit or is it some sort of bootleg?

Edit: Just doing some research on some of the Old Metal Records releases - are any of the newer ones legit? I know Fingernails is supposed to be legit but is it? What about Backwater - it seems pretty legit but again might be a bootleg? And what about Hammer "Contract With Hell" - I doubt Ebony Records gave King permission to release that.
Edit 2: Fingernails issue cleared up. The band declared the OMR releases official. Still the ones that interest me the most are Hammer and Backwater.
I don't know if this was asked previously but I cannot find any info on this so I might as well ask again:
I know there is a legit pressing of the first Saint Vitus album on CD. I also know there are bootlegs of this one all over the place. Does anyone know how to tell the original from the bootleg?

I know there are single CD bootlegs of the s/t, That one you mentioned I think is the single legit CD pressing of this album. I might be wrong though. That is why I am asking.Shimrod wrote:As far as I know the bootlegs are the 2 on 1 cd with both s/t and Hallow's Vicitim on one cd.
I have this one with those strange characters on the matrix like some Japonese cds have on matrix part.
Does anyone have a copy of Ulysses Siren "Above The Ashes" CD with the title and band name printed in black on the front inlay? If so can you tell me the matrix of the CD? I recently bought mine directly from the band/their website it has this matrix:
GC03020515 DISC MAKERS
Anyone have a copy with this matrix?

Although I had to use magnifying glass for this "DISC MAKERS"!!Zdan wrote:Does anyone have a copy of Ulysses Siren "Above The Ashes" CD with the title and band name printed in black on the front inlay? Why asking? I guess you don't doubt about the legitimacy(
