I think you are wrong, my old copy of Destruction's Cracked Brain has the same BMG branding, but is NOT a music club copy. It's full retail with printed longbox and original UPC (not the fucked up BMG barcodes)
There's a difference between co-released and distribution.
If I recall correcly Nosie started having problems towards the 90's and started having different distributors move they're stuff for them. I know SPV did this, BMG could have been another.

Well yeah, but my point was that a lot of Noise releases carry BMG branding and are not music club releases. You can tell that Grinder is made by PDO like all othe Noise USA releases from late 80s-early 90s, so its not a record club (at least I've never seen a club release made by PDO, and I was a member from 95-01 and have seen tons of older ones in used shops).

I'll take a look through my old ebay scans. Perhaps I still have the coroner CD that was a BMG Music Club copy and stated so on the back insert.

Does this one seem original to you?

The second half of Tankard - The meaning of life (Space Beer f.e.) is recorded more quietly than the rest of this album or is there something wrong with my ears? I have first Noise press.

I have a reprint of a CD (Manowar - The Hell Of Steel) with 2 IFPI codes, where the original as far as I know only has 1. I am trying to figure out when the reprint was made.
The reprint I have is pressed by Warner in Germany and the matrix ends with the characters "07/99". This looks to me like a date but I am no expert on matrix numbers, specially not those of Warner so I don't know if it really is one...
If someone could shed some light on this is would be awesome.
Not sure about this, but a lot of later CD's have two IFPI Codes. One for the glass master and one for the presing plant itself. That area of the matrix would indicate a date in my opinion.
Yeah. Almost all new CDs have SID codes for both master-disc production plant and the pressing plant for the actual CD. Does anyone else have anything more solid regarding the matrix?

It looks fine from that distance, but I can't say anything concrete without a closer, high quality photo.

That will have to wait until I get it

But I guess I will recognize it myself then. For now I just have nothing to compare it against.

Yes - it is in MS database for ages. This is the first time I saw it for sale though:

HOLY MOSES - Finished with the Dogs question:
I recently got this copy:
If you'll look closer you can see that the back inlay (booklet too) isn't plain white, but somehow transparent w/ album coverpic on the background. The original booklet should come with last page of the booklet (which is the same as the back insert) on page 1 and various band pics on page 2. The one on this version however comes with what is inside of Destruction - Release from Agony booklet (= discographie on 1st page and band pic on the 2nd). CD matrix is CDP DIGIP CD HM 3, and there's no IFPI code. So what the hell is it?
Bootleg? Misprint? The first time I bought this CD I got the misprint with Mekong Delta logotype on the CD, now this ...

The back insert of the copy I had looked just like that, but the booklet was normal. I don't remember the matrix, but I think it may have been the same. So maybe just a misprinted booklet on your copy?
edit: By booklet was 'normal' I mean it didn't have the Destruction stuff, the album art was still superimposed under the credits on the last page.

I got an e-mail from another guy who also bought his copy back in time and who is sure to have an original. His version has lyrics, too. So it seems there are different pressings/ runs. Some include lyrics, some don't.
However, if someone can clear this up it would be interesting though.
So the guy who was searching for the cd found it and it has lyrics. He bought it back when it was released and he remembered quite well, how much he was looking for it back then. So he bought it right away. His copy is 100% legit, just like mine

Hahaha.. so many "I bought it back when it was released" kings around these days...

Hm, I don't see the problem. This guy collects Metal since the early 80's and just like me, he bought the CD when it came out. We are no kings, we just were there when it came out.

Misprinted booklet is my guess. The Matrix is legit.
You haven't had good luck with this CD, huh?

Hi, guys.
How many of your NNR CDs have holes or cuts on the CD back side (the non-playable side)?
The recent grinder - dawn for the living CD I bought has a flawless playable side, but the backside has 3 tiny holes and a small knife scratch. I paid a fortune for this piece, I am just wondering, how much shall I askfor a refund?
Cuz a frd suggests that pretty much half of the NNR crap has holes.
Any body any ideas?

How much is this piece worth nowadays?
I give away my CD for free 6 years ago to a frd that doesn't even listen to Thrash, cuz I hate this album so much.
Guess I should be ready for a heartache.
