Both originals, I believe...
One US pressing & the other German, nothing funny about either

Like Korgull said, both are legit and are just different pressings.
Watch out though, as the first auction is indeed the US press but it's a BMG Music Club copy.

Got a matrix question for you...
I have a reprint of a CD (Manowar - The Hell Of Steel) with 2 IFPI codes, where the original as far as I know only has 1. I am trying to figure out when the reprint was made.
The reprint I have is pressed by Warner in Germany and the matrix ends with the characters "07/99". This looks to me like a date but I am no expert on matrix numbers, specially not those of Warner so I don't know if it really is one...
If someone could shed some light on this is would be awesome.

Not sure about this, but a lot of later CD's have two IFPI Codes. One for the glass master and one for the presing plant itself. That area of the matrix would indicate a date in my opinion.

Wow, awesome man. But how did you figure out it's a club issue? From the picture, we can see that it does have a barcode section hidden beneath the ripped price tag. Is that the clue? Or it's actually from the wired little symbol on the right hand side of the sliver disc?

I thing this is not a BMG Direct Marketing club release, but BMG Classics (a sublabel of Bertelsmann Music Group)

I already contacted the seller about this for details. I also know that Noise USA did not co-release any of their old CD back catalogue. It's a BMG club copy, just like one of the Coroner CD that I sold a couple months back.

I think you are wrong, my old copy of Destruction's Cracked Brain has the same BMG branding, but is NOT a music club copy. It's full retail with printed longbox and original UPC (not the fucked up BMG barcodes)

Did someone from this forum buy it outside eBay from this poor fella, who obviously didn't know how much it is worth? Confess! Confess!

If my copy is the black sheep, it would mean that Steamhammer/ SPV issued a bootleg as first pressing then?
The shop where I bought it is 100% trustful while I'm not sure where exactly I bought it but must have been Saturn (Cologne, since this was the first and only existing one back then) or ELPI (Cologne or Leverkusen). All of them are not known for selling bootlegs (although Saturn did when they sold these crappy Live Bootlegs for example of AC/ DC and Metallica years back).
I bought it short after I bought the vinyl, which must have been - like I said - end of the 80s beginning of the 90s.
Strange if a bootleg would include lyrics and an original would not. I can only assume that there are different pressings of this CD? It's not unknown that SPV did repress some of their CD's without any further notes. The only way to identify them are small details like later IFPI codes and things like this.
However, it's an interesting matter. If there are more details coming up, please let me know!
I never said that your copy is a bootleg. All I said is that out of everyone that I've asked that has an original copy, the booklet is blank, hence, the "black sheep" comment.
I got an e-mail from another guy who also bought his copy back in time and who is sure to have an original. His version has lyrics, too. So it seems there are different pressings/ runs. Some include lyrics, some don't.
However, if someone can clear this up it would be interesting though.
So the guy who was searching for the cd found it and it has lyrics. He bought it back when it was released and he remembered quite well, how much he was looking for it back then. So he bought it right away. His copy is 100% legit, just like mine

This remembers me of this Evil Sinner original, some days ago

I asked and surprisingly (normally they wouldn't) the seller replied - "sory sombody give me lots of monys i have no choiche".
I think I'm starting to do that too, everybody seems cool with that (Avenger in spite of all

...) and I'm not the last of the stupids.
