What's this like, there are a ton of promising Cleveland bands out there that I've never heard! Obviously Shok Paris, but what about the rest???
I only got it in the post yesterday and have not heard it yet (no time last night). It looks promising and once I hear it I will report back

Cleveland Metal is a superb compilation. My fave track would be JAGGED EDGE's - Heavy & "groovy" Metal/HR of the highest American order.

Probably my favourite Black Death song is on that compilation... "Taken By Force", "10 Seconds In" by Breaker, "Go Down Fighting" Shok Paris... pick of the bunch... great songs!

yes, very cool LP. Appeared on ebay in late 1999/early 2000 a couple of times on ebay (went there for around $40) but haven't seen it since then. Nice Power/Thrash for sure.

While not totally genious, I still liked it a lot. There's something special about bands who try to be progressive but doesn't quite have the musical skills to fulfill that goal. The end result is often chaotic, brutal and quite charming. So how known/covethed/rare is it anyway?

Damn. This inspired me to put it on for the first time in ages. We're talking 99% pure VENOM-rip-off. Frankly I can't think of many other bands whose sound are so obviously inspired by a "Classic" as NME's VENOM-worship..
Yes, it's a neat (no pun) album. Fave cuts: "Black Knigt", "Speed Kilz", "Warrior"..

id call it a filthy, drugged up, punkish Venom, really classic riffing from NME! i totally worship it, my fav cuts are Lethal Dose, Black Knight, Stormwarning etc!

I've never listened to this one. I saw a mint/ex copy recently in a dead mans collection sold to an extortionist 2nd hand dealer's store but I didn't pick it up as there was other stuff. Not an easy to find lp around here though it does as previously pointed out pop up from time to time on ebay and around town.
