Strange... Megadeth & Metallica are really close! Mustaine and Hetfield forged their style together. There is many similarities in their riffs.

I don't think hating music simply because it's somewhat popular can be justified.

At least Megadeth got good replacements when members left. All the others of the Big Four got worse everytime a member left/died.

I've never liked VOIVOD.
"Condemned to the gallows" from Metal Massacre V is an amazing song, but the rest of their material does not hit my "Heavy Metal taste" at all.

To me this is one of those "Love or hate" bands, such as MERCYFUL FATE or DREAM THEATER
(i love MF and hate DT ).

I've tried several times to "unlock my personally doors to the VOIVOD universe", but obviously I didn't have the right key yet.

I'd say I couldn’t care less about Megadeth music, really. It boils down to Dave’s attitude and his fans that I actually despise.

They've got some great songs ("Rust in peace" LP is great), but to me it is still one of the most overrated bands EVER.
I don't like Dave at all, but I also don't care about this "METALLICA is better than MEGADETH [or vice versa]" bullshit, that some fans still keep alive.

Not a huge fan of Voivod either...
