If anyone ever asks me which NWOBHM reunion I hate, my answer will be Hell.

The old stuff is all that matters for me right now. Honestly, i don't give shit about their new plans at the moment. Gimme the archived material first and we can discuss about their new songs later on. And for the time being, reviews of the new stuff will be ignored, as far as i am concerned. :x

Don't mean to offend anyone, but always think it is unwise to speak against something before even hearing it. I can't understand how can anyone like a band and say this kind of stuff. After 20 years this band comes together again and tries, with all their spirit, to record a few old songs once again, not for fame or money, but just for the love of it, and you crap all over it without even trying to give it the slightest chance.

Either way, I support them to the end.

That Andy Sneap is producing doesn't mean he'll make HELL sound like Nevermore or something. Benefit of the doubt perhaps? The man once played in Sabbat?

The only thing that really bothers me about this is that it's screwing up the release of the original material - you know, the stuff that made people care about the band in the first place. So if we want to hear Hell material, we either have to get these re-recorded versions (without their most important member) or stick to mp3s. If they'd just get the box set out there, I'd be a lot more willing to give the re-recordings a chance.

Releasing new stuff w/ Sneap doesn't necessarily mean that it will sound like Nevermore or ''too modern" and it doesn't mean also that it will be bad. However, it is not among my first priorities neither to support it nor hear it, at least for the time being. My cautiousness for ''new/reunion" albums grows stronger every day and surely it isn't Hell's fault for that, but too much wasted time and money all these years on such crap led to this situation. And as i've already said, supporting them isn't completely out of the question, i just want the old material first, then everything is discussable. I'll stick to this, as i think it's one the most important issues on the matter

A band with no major releases and just known through some demo's and a single that decide to re-record material even though they have enough old material to release and have said they will release it, have major ego problems. They are trying release "new" material even before 75% of the people who are likely to listen to it, have heard most of the orginal material.

That's like Witchfinder General(as we all know, now without Zeeb) re-recording the material on Buried Amongst The Ruins instead of re-releasing it.

Vocals will be done by Martin Walkyier from Sabbat, Kev Bower and Dave Halliday (some of the original tracks). Working title for the album is "Human Remains" and it will be ready this year probably.

Did I already mention they should release THAT FUCKIN' BOXSET first!?

Martin does not belong in Hell(Andy and Martin should release a Sabbat album instead, that's where they both belong). This project is getting worse by the month.

It's just getting more and more disappointing. I'm wondering how bad their next move will be.

I don't believe that much in reunions. Detente has also reunited without "Dawn Crosby's" hate spitting vox of course. The biggest pile of shit now has to be Exodus with their $$$malcore$$$ crap devastating their great status they once had. Concerning Hell, I hope they don't use a modern digital production, let's see what happens.
