Shame on me I've forgot them on my list

The "New wave of" doesn't mean the bands had to be new, only the music had to. It's a new wave of metal not a new wave of newcomersMEXDefenderOfSteel wrote:Motorhead is rock n roll and Judas Priest wasnt "new" ,if we should include them this would have to be change to just "britsh heavy metal"
So that definitively makes Black Sabbath NWOBHM, awesome.J.K. wrote:The "New wave of" doesn't mean the bands had to be new, only the music had to. It's a new wave of metal not a new wave of newcomers
No, because they never sounded like any other NWOBHM band. For me they can never be included in it. Sabbath's essence is in the early 70's ONLY. The rest are good or average albums here and there, without unity.Black Axe wrote:So that definitively makes Black Sabbath NWOBHM, awesome.J.K. wrote:The "New wave of" doesn't mean the bands had to be new, only the music had to. No don't worry, never preferred Dehumanizer that is a 6/10 Lp against early 70's Sabbath works (from first until sabotage all are great).J.K. wrote:Shame on you because you prefer Heaven and Hell or Dehumanizer to Paranoid, Master of Reality, S/T or Vol.4
thank you for clarifying with your extended knowledge what was the whole NWoBHM movement for all of us hereJ.K. wrote:The "New wave of" doesn't mean the bands had to be new, only the music had to. You think ? I encountered many "true metalheads" that love to claim they prefer the Dio-era and that the "Ozzy-era is for wimps"...Raven wrote:Ok maybe I'm the only one here to prefer Dio VS Ozzy.J.K. wrote:Shame on you because you prefer Heaven and Hell or Dehumanizer to Paranoid, Master of Reality, S/T or Vol.4
