Rule #3 does not extend to Syphili.. I mean "Symphonic Rock". 8)
I believe the "correct" terminology as used in the music rags of the day was "NWOPR" (New Wave Of Progressive Rock). It was a complicated buisness remembering all those ridiculous terms back in the '80's!
Personally, i thought Pallas' early stuff was really good, and a cut above some of the other stuff of that ilk (Twelfth Night, IQ, The Enid, Marillion etc.), they were also a really good live act, (much heavier than their records suggest), i caught them supporting both UFO and URIAH HEEP, waaay back in the day.
Dewey eyed pomp rock nostalgia on The Corroseum? Who would have thought it would come to this? :D
+EDIT+
If anyone's interested, i just posted PALLAS' "The Sentinel" album over @ my blog, it's the remastered cd version with 4 bonus tracks. That dewey-eyed nostalgia got me motivated. :)

Hey Lalli that's not possible! Listen to the last 3 tracks on side 1 again, and then the 2 last one's on the second side! And check out the new stuff I put up in case there's something you haven't heard.

So far, I really like the Rare Bird song. Xcel and Commander have also made good first impressions. Will continue listening :)
