That's great. Also Agalloch's "Fire Above, Ice Below" as the first track on the second "Ice" CD would be a good fit, don't you think. And a great song, by the way.

Can we squeeze Sabbath's "Snowblind" on to the "ice" disc, or are we being uber-strict on the "ice"?

Maybe intros for both discs??
There will be no Van Halen at The Corroseum. Period.
The first four VH albums have some great stuff on them.
"Mean Street", "Unchained", "D.O.A.", "Light Up The Sky", "Loss Of Control", "Eruption", "Runnin' With The Devil", "Atomic Punk".
Come now, if only for EVH's influence on every guitarist who came after him, you gotta have a little love for classic VH Dan?
Well, I kind of like some VH stuff myself but I believe that is something to be kept private and not brought out in the open in the few true Metal forums around!
It's got to do with the attitude as well - such bands dwell so deep in commercialism and are so far removed from the Metal spirit that they really belong elsewhere.
(Although when it comes to the kind of attitude I'm talking about there are some major bands we all revere that are sorely lacking themselves)
Nothing wrong with early VH and I don't care what anyone says about that. Ofcourse they were onto something totally different from the pure HEAVY METAL aesthetics but I do enjoy some of their work. This is home, this is mean street!
All said, I agree with DaN. I don't think Van Halen suits in this comp.
Good recommendations people! I'd really like to see "Frost & Fire" and maybe "When Fire Comes to Ice" in this one.
