That Satan's Host album is like animal porn - it's not for everyone

And what a killer line up! ADX at last!!! I hope for some cool old thrash band as well, let's say Razor :) (I know that they're confirmed for HOA)

No Sheepdog,no Razor!

I will quote Avenger and his notice about Tyran's vocal range on Titan Force!Shriekin' 'n' screamnin' and then grwlin' a few seconds laters don't mean that someone is using his vocal range.Hitting straight notes that is.........

Avenger (i hate calling people by their nicks, they certainly dont call me massofkthulu in the backside of the woods i come from, haha) well you know, what's the highest Harry goes on a titan force song? Maybe blaze of glory? maybe that scream on shadow of a promise or one and all? the song structures on titan force songs are radically different to SH song structures anyway,SH is so 'loose' Harry goes on scream rampages.Just the Iaaaa A A aaaaaa a a aaaa harry does on Metal from Hell is already higher than anything he sang on for TF.Even when SH play without distortion he;s still doing controlled shriek explosions 'it won't be long til u find your place in Heeee ee e eeell'
As for Jag Panzer maybe only that scream on Harder than steel comes close or the intro of symphony of terror-with the curse,of death he STAAAANDS!
I ld love an answer based on songs, enough with filosofy on this board, people keep writing and writing words and i dont see any real references to actual lyrics or songs, they mostly theorise and speculat abstract heavy metal concepts.enough of that.

Hitin' high notes has nothing to do with vocal range though.A range is,let's say a distance,a field from lower notes to higher ones. And,yeah,Concklin used the vaster of his vocal range on Titan's Force.Shadow Of A Promise is a good example goin' from lower notes all the way up.That is called range........

You took the words right out of my mouth.

Maybe MOK thought otherwise for what the definition of "range" really is.

I can say that if I do go Im going for ADX (who still sound ok judging by their last output), Obsession and a couple of others After seeing so many ordinary sets at Thrash Assault and KIT 11 (Artillery give up) Im just not getting that excited by these lineups anymore. Its really hit and miss I think. Though the bands at KIT 10, HOA were pretty on the ball this year.

All i can answer to that is if you dont have the suitable range u cant hit high notes :D haha
anyway can't be bothered to argue too much about this.Too each their own

The fact that SIREN are playing is enough for me to get down on my knees and blow the gods + ask for seconds.

Concerning everyone's favourite subject - SATAN'S HOST - I'm just happy beyond description to finally be able to get to hear their fantastic songs without the horrible production of MFH. Whatever dubious reasons got this wheel into motion I care nought - I've already made up my mind about this show. It will be amazing. Period.

Thanks for all the nice words on our festival. I just registered myself here, so if there are any questions concerning KIT, you are always free to aske here, too.

By the way: We got another band for KIT 13 confirmed: DEMON will play a special 30th anniversary show.
also it looks good, that canadian legend THOR will join on the billing. The contracts just need to be signed..

We are in the process of deciding how the threads opened by fest/gig promoters in Victim Of Time sub-forum should be handled. In the meanwhile post anything related to promotion in cold lake.

Btw, your last thread was not deleted from the forum, it can be found here/Mod.
