I never really liked punkish thrash metal...but the MANIMALS-ep just blew me away. Unbelievable wicked stuff!
The best record the MISFITS never made?
Oh yeah, absolutely.

I know it's a bit of topic, but maybe you also know about the band GENÖCIDE (only album: "Submit to Genöcide" from 1987) from New Jersey. They had in some ways a similar attitude and sound like the MANIMALS. Check out this fan page here: http://www.myspace.com/submit_to_genocide

Nasty stuff!

Genocide? That was the band where one (or more) of the members had a ludicrously huge spikey mohican, yeah? I remember the name and seeing their pix in magazines back in the day, but i don't think i ever got round to hearing them. Thanks for the tip, i'll check 'em out.

Hi Big Mouth, no, it's not official as far as i'm aware.
"Innocent 'Til Proven Guilty", is a compilation of early Cuprit rarities.
It compiles their demo, a few rehearsal tracks, some live cuts & the "US Metal II" version of "Players", all from 1982.
Sound appealing?
