Influental bands for the old?Well ACCEPT,SLAYER,MERCYFUL FATE are really good inluences for me and for the old metal bands.

i totally agree here....if you read interviews, more than 50% of thrash bands in the world name Slayer as their biggest influence...mercyful fate is my personal favorite, there would be not such extreme satanic imagery without them and the KING

Can't imagine bands like Anvil, The Rods or Riot developing their agressive yet hard rocking sound in the late seventies/early eighties without first studying the Nuge.

Thanks! I didn´t expect to find it in this thread. Anyway I just downloaded it and are currently burning a cd of it. I will listen to it in my car on the way home from work tonight. Should be really interesting! Again thanks!
