They were quite good, although i think that they were much better when i saw them 2-3 years ago in Greece. Their music style is not what you'd call perfect for a live show, if you know what i mean. Anyway, i was very happy seeing them playing "One Eyed God" which is my favourite DOOMSWORD track.
Also i must mention that ATTACKER gave a killer show for once more!

It was good to meet a few people there: Dan, Levi, Nabel and a few others (Randon German guy with beer) under that gazeebo thing in where the cars were parked.
Hey, that was probably mine, so I guess you met me as well (providing I was there). Cheers!
I did not see one bad gig. Ok, maybe Pharaoh did not strike my head with metal club like Manilla Road for example but they weren't lousy. Nice guitar harmonies etc.
About Doomsword, seeing&hearing they play "Heathen Assault" was one of the festival highlights for me. (That just came into my mind.)
Can't really see how people could have thought Cage were boring. I don't know much of their material, but I still felt the gig was quite good. Of course, there were so many great bands, they dwarfed Cage a bit, but still...
To me, Heathen were maybe the very best band. They played with great intensity, and I thought the new song Dying Season was amazing.
Also, Battleroar, Omen, Manilla Road, Doomsword and Jag Panzer were fantastic. Well, that's my two cents anyway.
I know I ain't doing much,
doing nothing means a lot to me.
I really dug seeing Demon Eyes, I have a thing for French metal... I thought they rocked. Nice guys too, I got to meet them back stage and they were equally as pleased to meet me as I was to meet them.
I didnt think too much of the newer thrash bands, they were not bad, but nothing better. I dislike the whole mentallity though, "fuck the poseurs man wank wank" who cares. what poseurs? at KIT? well maybe just those couple of greeks who seemed to only come along to want put their poof banner infront of our faces at the front and block our view during Manilla Road and Jag Panzer sets! grr why spoil it for people? I turned around to the foureyed tosser and gave him the biggest deathstare and pushed it away.
@McBuff:
You're right about the mentality of some those new thrashbands. I dislike that whole 'fuck posers' gimmick. I generally hate it when bands preach (too much) in between songs.

Well, tonight I saw Fueled by fire again (for a crowd of around 20 people...) and now had a chance to talk to the members and they're really all friendly guys, and they know their music (they played for example The antichrist of Slayer as well as Heavy metal drill from Metalucifer, and a shitload of classics during their soundcheck). Maybe they shouldn't talk so much about posers etc but it's just the same as heavy metal bands talking about true metalheads. Over the top? Yes. Enough to ban them from my playlist? Not by a long shot.
